The fantastic world of Papuzze
Papuzze® is a lifestyle brand born in 2005 from an idea of the Catania artist Antonio Lo Presti. The goal was to create a new nice character who could connect the world of insects to that of food.
The papuzza, an insect that feeds on cereals and legumes, has thus become Papu, a cheerful little puppet with simple and linear features that lend themselves well to countless customizations.
Papu was later joined by other irresistible friends, with the common goal of communicating important messages to his customers, always with a smile.
With colors and cheerfulness we try to bring adults and children closer to nature, encourage respect for the environment and help parents and teachers in food education.
The adventures of Papulandia
Papulandia is the fantasy world where insects (le papuzze) live and where their amazing adventures take place. Pupa, Papu and the others live inside an old sack of beans, in an abandoned grocery store. Among the houses of the papuzze (the "fava houses"), you can admire the green lake (the lake that is and is not there), the fava mountain, the BBB (Big Broad Bean). Among the various inhabitants of Papulandia we will meet Aba the wise old woman of the village, Levodòpa the alchemist, Seven the lucky boy, Pythagoras the enigmatic hermit, Gorgo, Zollino and many others…
